Born in Kemah, Erzincan in 1950, Mr. Torun graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University, in 1975.
He then decided to work in the private sector and quit his job in 1982. Together with his brother Mehmet Torun, he laid the foundations of the Torunlar Group of Companies.
He currently serves as Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors of several subsidiaries of Torunlar Group.
2013 –He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at GYODER (The Association of Real Estate and Real Estate Investment Companies) between 2013 and 2017.

He is also a founding partner of Torunlar Real Estate Investment Company.
Born in 1961, Afyon – Sincanlı. Graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Law in 1982.
Since completing his lawyer internship in 1983, he has been working as a lawyer particularly in the areas of Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Banking and Capital Markets Law and Enforcement-Bankruptcy Law. Mr. Karabıyık is a member of the Board of Directors of Yeni Gimat REIC and Başkent Natural Gas Distribution REIC.
Born in Tekirdağ in 1972. Mr. Kazanç graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at Bilkent University in 1994. He completed a MSc. Degree in International Financial Markets at the University of Southampton in 2001.
He worked as an Inspector on the Board of Internal Auditors between 1994 and 2002, and as an Assistant Treasury Manager between 2006 and 2008 at Türkiye İş Bankası, and as the Group Manager in the Treasury Department at İş Bankası between 2006 and 2008. He worked as an Assistant General Manager at Arab-Turkish Bank between 2008 and 2009..
Since 2009, İsmail Kazanç has been the CFO at Torunlar REIC. He served as a member of the Board of Directors at Turkish Capital Markets Association between 2014 and 2018. Also, Mr. Kazanç is a member of the Board of Directors at Başkent Natural Gas Distribution REIC, Torunlar Energy Industry and Trade Inc., Torunlar Food Inc. and TRN Hotel Management and Investment Inc.
Ferda Besli is the founder and managing partner of Besfin Finansal Hizmetler Danışmanlık ve Tic. A.Ş. She is the founder and managing partner of Besfin Finansal Hizmetler Danışmanlık ve Tic.
After working in various positions at Akbank, Mr. Besli retired as Executive Vice President responsible for Commercial Banking, SME, Project Finance and Cash Management Departments in 2011 and founded BESFIN in the same year. A 1985 graduate of Istanbul University, Department of Economics, Mr. Besli interned at Deutsche Bank, the world's leading financial institution, during his tenure at Akbank and participated in numerous domestic and international trainings on sales and marketing.
Besli participated in the "Customer Focused Marketing Strategy" training at the London Business School, and took part in the initiative established with CEPS (Centre For European Policy) - IEMED, a thinktank organization of the European Union, to solve the financing problems of SMEs operating in Mediterranean countries, and took an active role in this initiative by attending meetings in Barcelona and Brussels in 2010.
Born in 1959 in Bayburt, Kenan Yavuz graduated from Business Administration Department of Ankara Academy of Commercial and Economic Sciences in 1981. He received a master’s degree from the Institute of Business Administration of Istanbul University Faculty of Management.
Kenan Yavuz started his professional career at Koç Holding where he took part in different divisions and held various managerial positions until he left the company in 2004. Having obtained his second master’s degree (MBA) at Yeditepe University in 1998 – 2000, Kenan Yavuz was appointed as Board Member of Petkim Petrokimya Holding in March 2004 and then as General Manager of Petkim in May 2004. In 2008, he concluded the privatization process of Petkim Petrochemical Holding, one of Turkey’s most important strategic enterprises. Upon the demand of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) that acquired Petkim, Mr. Yavuz continued working as the General Manager of Petkim after privatization.
Kenan Yavuz carried out his duty as President/CEO of SOCAR Turkey Enerji Inc., between 2009 and 2016, which was established within the framework of SOCAR’s decision on expanding its activities in Turkey. Since 2009, he has leaded the establishment of the companies such as STAR Rafineri Inc., Petlim Limancılık Ticaret Inc. and SOCAR Power Enerji Yatırımları Inc. within the structure of SOCAR Turkey Enerji Inc. In September 2016, Kenan Yavuz has founded YAVUZ Management Solutions Ltd. He is fluent in English, married with two children.

Dr. M. Emre Çamlıbel holds an MS degree in Civil Engineering from MIT, and a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Yıldız Technical University. He also has a PhD degree in Civil Engineering on energy efficiency optimisation modelling from Boğaziçi University. Dr. M. Emre Çamlıbel started his career in 1992 at STFA in Turkey as a structural engineer and continued at Kennedy & Rossi Inc. and Walsh Brothers Inc., in Boston as a project engineer and manager afterwards. In 1998, he joined Soyak Group where he initially served as Assistant to General Manager at Soyak Construction and later as the Project Development Coordinator at Soyak Holding, followed by being the general manager and executive board member of Soyak Real Estate Development Co., and finally CEO of Soyak Holding between 2008 and 2016. He was a Board member of the Housing Developers and Investors Association (KONUTDER), Reits and Real Estate Association (GYODER), as well as Turkish Green Building Council (CEDBIK) and Istanbul Contractors Association (INDER). He 3 also serves as a board member at the Affordable Housing Institute in Boston, as well as an advisory board member of a software related startup in San Francisco. He also acts as technical advisor in several engineering consultancy and design firms, mainly in real estate and energy related fields.
Primarily focusing on the real estate and energy sectors, Dr. M. Emre Camlıbel has more than 25 years of experience in real estate, project management, investment and business development. Camlibel is a Partner Associate Professor at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and a part time instructor at Bogazici University in Engineering and Business schools and a frequent visiting instructor at MIT (CRE) and Columbia Universities.
