As the largest outlet in the Mediterranean Region,
the Deepo Outlet Center is located next to the airport
in Antalya, one of Turkey's key tourist destinations.
Opened in 2004, Deepo Antalya is on the Isparta-
Konya highway intersection, and on the route to
touristic destinations such as Alanya, Manavgat
and Side. The shopping center is surrounded by a
concentration of commerce and business centers with
a total leasable area of 105 m² per 1,000 capita.
Its distance from other major cities, coupled with the concentration of tourist activity in the area, means Antalya is an ideal location for the sale of end of season stock. The increasing success of the project each year has increased Deepo's appeal for many national and international brands. Making best use of the advantage of its prime location just adjacent to Antalya Airport, Deepo stands out by providing departure boards and airline check-in desks within the building, allowing visitors to spend their time at Deepo while waiting for their flights.
A sound knowledge of the region, the lay-out of proper tourism-related strategies and the creation of a store mix that best fits the shopping habits of people in the region are other factors that provide Deepo with a competitive advantage. Deepo attracts about 5,000,000 visitors each year; 25% of these are foreign tourists and 35% are domestic tourists, with the remainder comprised of local visitors; the seasonal breakdown is generally homogeneous.
Deepo, the only mall circulating Antalya City Maps to tourists at the airport, managed to appear on the must-see lists for both domestic and foreign tourists. Ticketed passengers may also use the shuttle service between the airport and Deepo before their flights.
As a result of our initiatives, a mass transportation line has been set up between Deepo and the hotel zone. Another shuttle service with regular departures operates throughout the summer between the hotel zone and Deepo.
